-Based on the concept of many-to-many, each member has control over the content. In this example, solution B would be the most promising, because the kids and the grandparents are controlling what information is valuable, and they are allowed to file-share their own content. Once the content is uploaded, users then are able to search for these words and learn about them.
2. Evan Habeeb wanted to make people aware of the beauty of abandoned buildings.-Solution B provides a stronger and more unique experience for users by allowing them to view and create images with their mobile device. This makes the content easily manageable and can be viewed at any time, in any order, and anyone can contribute and share. Solution A demonstrates more of a “one-to-many” approach, though important, provides less interactivity, and the content is managed by one person and other cannot contribute.
3. Ryan Schaller and Jason Walker wanted to help people understand the many layers required to create a computer-animated film, including wireframe, textures, and light effects. As a case study, they created an animation depicting a cartoon archeologist digging for ancient artifacts.-Both solutions give an interesting insight to the animation process; however, Solution B would be the strongest solution for several reasons. Making a App would give anyone the opportunity to download it and view at anytime. As they view these illustrations they’ll be also be able to learn about the process, the companies, and the software. Solution A, again, while interesting, limits the application to a specific touch screen where limited users can use it at once and no further information is provided except for the view of the layers.
4. Danielle Gagner wanted to renovate the waterfall fountain under the skylight in the middle of the University Union, which had fallen into disrepair.-Solution B provides a strong technological installation that would capture the attention of students/ staff; although, there would be no “users” because it is only viewable and content is restricted to that of the creator. Solution A would be the best option because it give everyone an opportunity to contribute what kind of plant they would like to add as well as allow them to experience the garden (by picking an eating what is available).
